Passport and Visas

All non-residents of the EU are required to have a valid passport.

Participants must ensure visa requirements for traveling to Greece. Applications for visa should be made at the nearest Greek Embassy as soon as possible. Citizens of member states of the European Union and the USA do not need visas.

How to request an invitation letter?

For those who need an invitation letter for issuing their visa, please register before requesting an invitation letter from the organizer. The invitation letter will include information about the conference, its dates, place and confirmation of attendance. Please note that the invitation letter can be issued only after registration fees payment has been proceeded. If your attendance to the EuChemsil2020 fails due to delay or rejection of the Schengen visa, the registration fee will be compensated partly following the cancellation policy standards.

The official language of the conference will be English.

Insurance and Liability

Participants are advised to arrange the travel insurance they consider necessary. No responsibility can be assumed by the Congress for personal accidents, sickness, theft, or property damage suffered by the participants.

Currency

Since the beginning of 2002 the EURO is the official currency in Greece. 1 Euro = 100 Cents. (Coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 Cents; 1, 2 Euros, Banknotes: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 Euros)
